Author biography
Since her first encounters with The Happy Hollisters and Nancy Drew, Carol’s guilty reading pleasure has been mysteries. But before she turned to writing them herself, she earned a Ph.D. in psychology and did a postdoctoral fellowship in criminology, spending time with police, victims, and convicts. All of that would serve her well when she decided to leave real crime behind for the fictional variety. She has published short stories in a variety of anthologies, and her first novel, The First Murder, came out in 2024. She is diligently working on the sequel.
