Danyl A. Doyle is a former resident of New Zealand, now living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. He is a professional speaker of mixed race. Despite learning disabilities and mild autism, he became an English teacher, a Ph.D. psychologist, and a businessman. He has five Facebook profiles with 5000 followers each, along with Twitter, LinkedIn, and an author blog. He enjoys traveling worldwide as a professional speaker. His stories and poems have been published in The Southern Quill, The Milkbarn, Anaconda Magazine, The Wilderness House Literary Review and The Winged Penny Review. He has two novels accepted for publication in 2024-25: “The End Of Hardship” and “For A Woman’s Love.”

What inspired you to start writing?
I wrote my first story in first grade and was called to write by Mark Twain, John Steinbeck, and Earnest Hemingway.
Who are some of your favorite authors and books?
Twain, Steinbeck, Hemingway, Bellow, Hesse, Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark, among others.
What would you like to tell readers who have just discovered your books, but haven't read one yet?
If you love adventure romances like Romancing The Stone and the Indiana Jones movies, you'll enjoy these novels.
Who is the favorite character you created, and how did they come into being?
At the moment, Robyn Young, based on a high school girlfriend. She is smart, sweet, sexy, and very romantic with a bit of magical realism through her mental threads.
What are your future plans as a writer?
I am compelled to write fiction. I started serious pursuit of writing a novel years ago, and now write every day anywhere from four to twelve hours. It seems to be a compulsion.
