G.D. Sammon

G. D. Sammon is a trained former journalist and former newspaper editor over 35 years. He has also taught journalism, in particular media law, at two universities and at an award-winning private training organisation.

As a multi-genre author, G. D. Sammon uses a wealth of life experience in addition to story-specific research in his writings.

Away from his professional life he and his family have, over a number of years, boarded dogs in training on behalf of Guide Dogs for the Blind in the UK.

He has travelled extensively and his leisure time is filled with hiking, the arts, and has been researching his family history, discovering some surprising ancestral links.

G. D. Sammon lives close to the West Pennine Moors in the UK and is married with two adult daughters.
