Author biography

Joe Paone is an author of both adult and children's fiction. His works include The Baron’s Daughter and Michael and the Magic Christmas Mirror. He currently teaches history and government in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Joe holds a B.S.Ed. in History from West Chester University and a M.Ed. from Gwynedd Mercy University. Born in Ambler, Pennsylvania, he is the son of Italian-born immigrants. His Italian-American heritage plays a significant role in shaping his storytelling.

Blending his deep love of history with timeless themes of love, loyalty, and the human cost of war, The Baron’s Daughter marks his debut in historical fiction.

Joe enjoys spending time with his three children, inventing stories to spark their young imaginations. Michael and the Magic Christmas Mirror is a tribute to those cherished moments of storytelling.

Joe lives in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, with his wife, their three children, a beagle named Ellie, and a cat named Munchkin. When he's not writing or teaching, he enjoys playing guitar or spending time at the South Jersey shore and on the golf course.
