Richard S. Brown
Author biography
Richard Brown grew up in Wisconsin and Illinois. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for three years from 1962-65. Following military service he attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois where he received a BA in political science. He attended the University of Hawaii for his MA in East Asian Studies, and then began a thirty year civilian career with the U.S. Army in civilian personnel management which included ten years in Korea. He has two previously published novels. Push Back Choson is an alternate history of the Korean War. Going Off the Rails is a mystery thriller set in 1950’s Wisconsin. Richard and his wife Aija live in Overland Park, Kansas.
