Sue Mydliak

Sue Mydliak has been a writer since 2007. She started out writing fanfiction for a Harry Potter website and found that her stories were getting over 200 hits. It wasn't until she read Twilight that she wanted to try her hand out at her own vampire story.  In 2011 it became best seller reaching over 100 books sold the first week it went public. and ranking #3 in the Top 10 books at the Book Mouse store in LaSalle county. Little did she know that this first book would become a Trilogy. What makes her vampire Trilogy different from the others is that she's done research into different forms of vampirisms. Her trilogy also involves part mystery and romance to make her books stand out from the rest. "It's those differences that make my trilogy compelling."

Sue was born in Flint, Michigan and currently lives in Joliet, Illinois. Prior to that she lived in Woodridge, Illinois. Other places that she has lived in have been Bremerton, Washington and Coronado, California. Her favorite place to live was Coronado. It was a place where many people retired to and with the beach being only two blocks from where she lived, it was ideal. Coronado is also known for the famous Del Coronado Hotel, where many celebrities have stayed.

She currently has seven books written three of which is her trilogy, Rosewood. Her most current book, 'Elspeth', is a historical fiction. 'Night Games' is a dark, gothic, Romeo and Juliet story.

In her off times, when not writing, Sue illustrates children's books and designs book covers for other authors. She is also a published and 2nd place winner in her photography.
