Biography

My name is Laura Stecco, I’m 41 years old and I’m an Italian freelance professional and sworn translator.

I speak and write correctly 3 languages: English, Spanish and French. I’ve also a basic knowledge of German and Portuguese.

I’ve worked in the field of languages for about twenty years, at the beginning as a secretary, then as a clerk in the import-export department of a few companies. Now, I’m a professional freelance translator.

I work for several translation agencies or directly for private companies, translating different kinds of texts (commercial, technical, legal, tourism, IT, entertainment and so on).

In the last years I focused on translating novels (that’s the work I prefer) and several books translated by me have already been published.
