Author biography
Jake Lynch and Annabel McGoldrick met at Yorkshire Television when both joined as reporters in 1992. Jake went on to be a Political Correspondent and Foreign Correspondent, ending up as a newsreader on BBC World. He switched to an academic career at the University of Sydney, where he teaches in the Master of Social Justice degree. Annabel is now a psychotherapist and supervisor in private practice, specialising in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, with Internal Family System. She runs international training courses for other therapists. The couple were jointly honoured with the 2017 Luxembourg Peace Prize, given by the Schengen Peace Foundation, for their contributions to Peace Journalism.
