What inspired you to start writing?

From the time I learned to read, I was enthralled with books and wanted to write my own.

Who are some of your favorite authors and books?

It is really difficult to choose favorites, but the books that have stuck with me the longest are C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia and Stephen King's Under the Dome.

What would you like to tell readers who have just discovered your books, but haven't read one yet?

I believe family is the most important thing we have in life, be it blood relatives or friends we cherish. No matter how tense, dark, and/or crazy my stories get you will always find an emphasis on nurturing those relationships.

Who is the favorite character you created, and how did they come into being?

My favorite character so far is a secondary character that appears in The Fatal Series, named Debbie. She's an older lady who is a no-nonsense, straight shooter, but is also a loving nurturer. She can shoot a rifle with great accuracy and bake the best chocolate chip cookies around.

What are your future plans as a writer?

I plan to continue writing for next twenty years.
