Final Feast (The Fallen Rise Book 3)
Lin Is Running Out of Time
Restored from her fallen state by Bellas—the first Fallen Angel—Lin awakens as a reborn Virtue, capable of wielding the mysterious force known as the Prime. But her restoration comes with a cost. As she begins unlocking the true power left behind by Cerviel, Lin uncovers a truth that reshapes everything she believed about Heaven, demons, and the gods themselves.
Virtues were never meant to serve blindly. They were created as an act of atonement—and as a safeguard against the Creator, an unknowable being that fashioned deities to harvest life across countless realms. Earth is not a sanctuary. It is a feeding ground.
As the fabric of creation begins to fracture, Adam grows desperate to escape a fate worse than death, willing to tear reality apart to break the cycle. At his side stands Evan, whose hidden connection to the Creator threatens to awaken the very force that sustains the system. Meanwhile, Luc—born of an unholy experiment and capable of draining divine power itself—may be the only one strong enough to stop Adam. But embracing his true nature could destroy Lin if she has not fully shed what she once was.
To save the world, Lin must choose: hold onto her identity as a Virtue or sacrifice the very essence of who she is to sever the Creator’s hold on existence forever. As love becomes both weapon and weakness, the cost of defiance rises—and not everyone will survive the final stand.
Discover a dark epic fantasy where angels and demons defy their origins, love challenges divine law, and the fate of creation hangs by a single, impossible choice.
Excerpt from the book
I struggled to recover my breath, my throat and body aching from the ordeal I had just been pushed through. Luc held my hand in his, his grip tight and worried as I struggled to move. Bellas merely smiled as he watched me, pleased with whatever he saw.
“I will never get used to it,” Minn sighed, and I managed to move my head to see her as I panted. She waved her hand over my bile, cleaning the floor as she shook her head. “We need to stop Adam this time, I can’t bear to keep upholding his lies.”
“Stopping him won’t fix everything,” Bellas warned but Silas shook his head.
“No, Minn is right. Stopping Adam from upsetting the flow of time will help. He will be forced to reveal his true self, and we can stop pretending to believe in him.” The angel sighed as he looked at me, and I almost saw something of pity and regret in his eyes. He shook his head again, as if it is now too painful to look at me as I recover. “As long as his lies remain in place, Angels will never be free.”
“Neither will demons.” Bellas added, and I could see the way his words both rile up the council members and caused Luc to freeze. The Fallen’s voice was heavy with power and he didn't mince his words as he continued speaking. “We share a creator, and our fate is tied to theirs. Virtues are the result of her penance for demons, and angels their brothers.”
“Ha, tell that to their current king!” Silas spat and I could feel Luc’s concern mounting as he listened to the angel speak. “Even if all angels changed their mind, good luck convincing that boar of anything. He would merely use it as an excuse to wipe Heaven clean!”
“You’re… wrong…” I managed to muster, and Silas gave me a questioning look as I felt Luc squeeze my hand in warning.
“Oh? Where exactly am I wrong?”
“Requiem… wants no war with heaven.” I managed, swallowing past the pain of my throat as I met the angel’s eyes evenly. Everything in gaze said he didn’t believe me, but I kept my eyes on his as I continued. “He… wants to close off the Underworld. To… protect demons.”
“Then why does he stroke such hatred with us?” Minn asked curiously, and I watched as Silas turned to her in disbelief.
“Minn!”
“To turn more demons to his side, to convince them it is necessary to seal the Underworld to all who would do them harm.” Luc answered for me, his voice soft as he kept his eyes down. It was my turn to squeeze his hand in mine and he cleared his throat as he looked up to meet Minn’s gaze. “He wishes to protect demons from all who hate them, including Heaven. He is just as ignorant to the truth as Heaven is.”
