Knick Knack Paddy Whack

A brutal murder at Kauai’s Spouting Horn blowhole shatters Flash Finnegan’s peaceful island life. The victim—an ex-cop with a hidden past—leaves behind no clues, only questions that pull Flash into a web of danger and deceit. Who is sending anonymous messages branding him a killer? And why do these deadly mysteries always seem to find him?

As Detective Sergeant Kellie and her team launch their investigation, the stakes rise with the disappearance of a local CEO and whispers of a notorious Honolulu crime boss setting his sights on Kauai. The trail leads Flash into the heart of Hawaii’s criminal underworld, where deception runs deep and alliances are fleeting.

Flash’s relentless search for the truth takes him to Honolulu, where he stirs the nest of two rival crime lords—Thane Arbuckle, who plans to flood Kauai with illegal drugs, and Lolo Price, a kingpin with a long memory and a thirst for vengeance. As Flash uncovers the shocking connection between the murder, a botched kidnapping from decades past, and a police unit dismantled in disgrace, he realizes he’s more than just a bystander—he’s a target.

With hitmen closing in and a bounty on his head, Flash must outmaneuver a ruthless assassin trained in the French Foreign Legion and face down his own past before more blood is spilled. As the lines blur between justice and revenge, will Flash survive long enough to uncover the real mastermind behind the chaos?

Packed with fast-paced action, unforgettable characters, and a pulse-pounding plot, Knick Knack Paddy Whack is the third installment in Walter Sutton’s Flash Finnegan Series. Fans of crime fiction, detective thrillers, and Hawaiian noir won’t want to miss this high-stakes mystery that will keep you guessing until the final page.
